Ema Popivoda

Founder & Concert Pianist

Ema Popivoda is the founder of Modoars Piano Academy and an internationally recognized concert pianist who has performed on stages around the world. She is a piano professor at the Music Academy of Goce Delčev University (UGD) and an active performer, with a career spanning solo and chamber engagements at numerous prestigious festivals and concert halls across Europe, as well as in Japan and the USA.

With more than 25 years of experience working with children, Ema builds her pedagogical philosophy on a practical, contemporary methodology that she applies in the curriculum of the Modoars Piano School. She is the author of 5 of her own piano method books, created together with her mother Vivian, while the illustrations are the work of her brother Sashe.

Her rich international experience and artistic career are directly reflected in her teaching, as well as in the training and development of the Academy's teaching staff. Drawing on all the advantages of the modern era, Ema successfully connects the world of the concert stage with the education of young pianists.

Sashe Potevski

Solfège and Music Theory

Sashe Potevski comes from a musical family and has been surrounded by music from his earliest years. In addition to piano, he plays electric bass and has active experience as a member of several bands. He is a key contributor to the creation of the curriculum for solfège, theory, and music history, having authored a total of five solfège workbooks used by our students.

With his sociable nature, positive energy, and sense of humor, Sashe is a favorite teacher among students. His charm and dedication are part of the distinctive spirit of our academy.

Leonid Petreski

Piano Teacher

Leonid Petreski was born in Skopje and began his musical education at the age of six at the "Ilija Nikolovski-Luj" music school. From an early age he performed on stage and won numerous awards at piano competitions in Macedonia and abroad. He graduated from the Faculty of Music Art in Skopje as one of the best students of his generation, with a grade average of 9.9. He has worked at Modoars Piano Academy from its very beginnings and is known for his dedication, unassuming working style, and close rapport with students. His students regularly win awards at competitions in Macedonia and Italy, and some of them are recipients of special grand-prix awards and trophies.

Sara Siljanovska

Piano Teacher

Sara Siljanovska is completing her studies at the Faculty of Music Art, majoring in music theory, where she also actively studies piano and is currently studying composition. She is an ambitious and dedicated educator who strives for work bordering on perfection, while nurturing a warm and friendly relationship with her students. The result of her work is more than 40 award-winning students at national and international competitions in Skopje, Štip, Bitola, and at the competition in San Donà di Piave in Italy. In addition to teaching, Sara is the author of her own compositions for piano, as well as works for other instruments and ensembles. Her works have been performed in Macedonia and abroad, confirming her active role as a contemporary music creator.

Isidora Angeleska is a final-year piano student at the Faculty of Music Art in Skopje and an active music educator with many years of experience working with young pianists. As a performer, she has given solo concerts in several cities across Macedonia, as well as performances in Italy and Switzerland. At Modoars Piano Academy she leads the branch in the Aerodrom neighborhood, where her class is known for its large number of talented and hard-working students who regularly perform in concerts and win awards at domestic and international competitions. Isidora has a modern and creative approach, which is why her students adore her.

Bojan Dimitrovski

Bojan Dimitrovski is a graduate pianist from the Faculty of Music Art in Skopje, where he is currently continuing his studies in composition. Alongside his teaching, he is an active musician and regularly performs as a soloist and chamber player. A special place in his artistic activity is held by his collaboration with the Bitola Chamber Orchestra, where he performs as part of the ensemble. At Modoars Piano Academy he is known for his calm, dedicated, and motivating approach to students, as well as for his creativity in selecting and adapting contemporary and film compositions for piano, making lessons even more interesting and inspiring. His students achieve excellent results at competitions, and one of his students is among the most awarded in the Academy, having won high first prizes at competitions in Macedonia and Italy.
